Washing instructions - Wool

The wool fiber is naturally dirt repellent. Weathering is often sufficient to freshen up a woolen garment and for all woolen products gentle washing applies as the wool is sensitive to machining and the fibers can tangle or shrink.

  • Wash in the washing machine in a wool program, which is often more gentle on the wool than washing by hand as the garment becomes heavy from the water and it is easy to overwork
  • Use fine laundry detergent, which is free of enzymes, as the wool retains its luster and strength for a long time
