Lyocell is also recognized by the Tencel brand. It can mimic both silk and cotton depending on the properties given to the fiber during manufacture. Lyocell is a strong fiber but at the same time soft and comfortable against your body and gives a beautiful fall.

Lyocell is made of regenerated cellulose where the wool fiber usually comes from Eucalyptus. The fibers are broken down by artificial which means using chemicals and that then are spun into fibers. This production is gentle to the enviroment as the chemicals are largely reused in a closed system. The raw material comes from cerified responsible forestry. Lyocell can shrink in laundry, which mostly can be ironed out with steam.
