Silk is a natural material that comes from silk threads, produced by the silk butterfly larvae. The silk gives a beautiful glow and a soft fall. It absorbs moisture well and has a cold feel to the body.
The fibers are sensitive, and it can be broken down by chemicals, salts from example sweat, bleach, enzymes and strong deodorants that contain a lot of aluminum chloride.
Wash your silk product softly by hand in lukewarm water (never soak) or in the sensitive machine wash program. Use fine laundry detergent for wool and silk so that the silk product will maintain its beautiful glow and a long life.
