Modal resembles cotton's durability with its shine and softness. Modal, like viscose, is made from regenerated cellulose that usually comes from birch.

The wood raw material comes from responsible forestry. No pesticides are required in cultivation and much less water is needed to produce modal compared to cotton. Chemicals are used to dissolve the cellulose and spin it into fiber. More chemicals are recycled in the process compared to viscose, up to 95%.

We always recommend you to handle your garments with care. Try to weather the clothes and only wash when really needed in 30 degrees fine wash. Modal can shrink in laundry, but can be ironed out after. Apply at medium temerature with steam, preferably moisten the product before with a water sprayer.
